A person answers every call, day or night, asks what the system is doing (no cooling, no heat, a heat pump iced over, water dripping from the attic air handler, a breaker that keeps tripping) and starts dispatching the nearest available licensed HVAC technician while you are still on the line. You will hear the expected timing on that call. We do not quote arrival times we cannot keep, especially in a July heat wave or after an ice storm, when every contractor around Matthews and Charlotte is busy.

Have this ready when you call or write

• The service address, including whether it is in Mecklenburg or Union County if you know
• What the system is doing, and when it started
• The type of system: heat pump, gas furnace with AC, dual fuel or ductless
• The age of the system, or a photo of the model plate on the outdoor unit
• Anything that changed recently: a storm, a power outage, a new thermostat, a recent repair
